They have observed and published in peer reviewed medical literature that glutathione, the main antioxidant in the brain, is markedly deficient in patients with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. The believe repetitive head injuries result in the same deficiency and are now enrolling former NFL players, Navy SEALs and other combat warriors in their IRB approved study to measure glutathione in their brains.
