Dr. Joseph Maroon Video Discusses New Cancer Therapy at A4M Meeting

A4M 32 nd Annual Longevity Fest December 2024

Dr. Joseph Maroon was recently a keynote speaker at the American Academy of Anti-Aging
Medicine (A4M) 32 nd Annual Longevity Fest in Las Vegas, Nevada. Author Dr. Peter Attia, and
Harvard researcher and longevity expert, Dr. David Sinclair were also featured. Dr. Maroon
discussed, “Recent Advances in the Immunotherapy of Cancer”. He presented the dramatic
results using a novel combined cryosurgical/immunotherapeutic approach to solid cancers, a form of in situ vaccination.

He shared the work, which Dr. Charles Link presented in April at the American Association of
Cancer Research, of Dr. Jason Williams, a pioneer interventional immunotherapist. Unprecedented results were obtained with an 80% response rate in 15 patients who had failed
all therapy with metastatic prostate cancer.

Syncromune, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company was recently granted FDA fast track
approval for a clinical trial to further evaluate this innovative treatment for patients with metastatic castrate resistant cancer. The A4M was founded in 1992 by Dr. Robert Goldman and Ronald Klatz and is one of the largest meetings for preventive medicine in the world – over 3,000 physicians and medical personnel attended the presentation.
