BIOGRAPHY

Dr. El Kadi served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Allegheny University of the Health Sciences in Pittsburgh, PA. He is an associate Professor of Neurosurgery at West Virginia University’s School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV and is now a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. El Kadi completed his neurosurgery residency training at West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia, and completed Neurosurgery Research Fellowship at LAC + USC Medical Center, Department of Neurosurgery Los Angeles, California. He also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Neurosurgery at Hartford Hospital and University of Connecticut. He received additional training in complex spinal surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is currently certified in Neurosurgery.

Dr. El Kadi specializes in the treatment of complex spine disorders including spinal instrumentation. Dr. El Kadi also has an interest in the treatment of brain disorders. He has authored more than 7 books and book chapters and has over 30 publications in circulation. He is an active participant in professional societies.
